How It Works

We’re a local closet clean-out service that picks up your unwanted clothes, sells what we can for you and recycles the rest to keep them out of landfills. CHECK HERE to see if you’re home or office is in our pick-up area (within 20 miles of Carytown/23221).

 

1. ORDER YOUR CLEAN-OUT KIT

We’ll mail you a CLEAN-OUT KIT , which includes 1-2 heavy-duty bags and a complimentary pickup at your home or office.

2. FILL YOUR BAGS

We accept adult, maternity/nursing and kids’ clothes, shoes, jewelry, handbags and accessories. We also take diaper bags and babywearing gear (carriers/wraps). Follow our PACKING TIPS to ensure we receive your items in good condition.

WE CANNOT RETURN YOUR ITEMS AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN PICKED UP. We start sorting and processing your items as soon as they arrive at our processing center. If you are not 100% ready to part with an item, do not put it in your bag!

3. SCHEDULE a pICKUP

We offer contactless pickup during the week, starting at 8AM, at your home or office.

4. GET ON WITH YOUR LIFE (BUT CHECK YOUR EMAIL)

Our experienced intake team reviews your items for sale and donation. Luxury items may require authenticity. We email you within 30 days of your pickup with payout details and a tax-deductible receipt.

5. EARN $$$

Currently, we only send payments via PayPal. You receive 30% of the selling price for items we take for resale. For designer/luxe goods sold on consignment, you receive 50% of the sale at the end of the month they sell. You can review our payment structure on our FAQ page.

6. SUPPORT RVA

Our #1 goal is to support our community and neighbors. Anything we can’t sell is donated to textile recyclers to keep them out of landfills.
